Saturday morning we went to see “ICE” featuring Charlie Brown.  We thought we were prepared for the cold temperature but can you really prepare yourself for 9 degrees?  It was very cold!!  But…it was definitely worth it.  It was so so neat and the kids had so much fun. Macy was all bundled up and […]

The HoneaBees - How fun! Jaaron and I went to years ago and they had an ice thing. I don't really remember the theme of it, but they had a life size nativity scent that was amazing! Neat what they can do with ice.
    I can't wait to see the rest!ReplyCancel

The fam, on my mom’s side, (22 of us) went to Nashville for the weekend and stayed at the Opryland Hotel.  This was my mom’s way of celebrating her weight loss…yipee for us getting to celebrate it with her.  She had a long intinerary typed out for the whole weekend….The Rockettes, Ice, Louise Mandrel Dinner […]

I just love children’s programs at schools.  Seriously, parents just go crazy over watching their kids dress up in little costumes to sing.  It’s so cute. Caley’s preschool put on a Christmas Program this year and it was so precious.  Caley was a cow. She’s hard to find.  Do you see her?  Look at the […]

McKinney Madness - I agree! By the time we got up it was mostly gone. I love it when you wake up on a school morning only to find out you're snowed in and don't have to go to school. Wait, I don't think that's ever happened to me. It's okay to dream though, right?ReplyCancel

We had a wonderful, and busy, Thanksgiving this year.  Breakfast Thursday morning at my parents house with my mom’s side of the family, lunch with my Grandmother Morrow (my dad’s mom) and the family, and then drove to Adairsville, GA for dinner with the Busby’s. I mentioned before that my mom has been losing weight, well […]

The HoneaBees - I am so proud of our Tigers! They might not have won, but they played hard, made AL fans have a very bad day and wore them out for their next game. War Eagle! Awesome that you got to go to the game. Best game of the season despite the outcome.
Tell me again what photoshop you have…I am asking for it for Christmas and want to know the easiest one to figure out.ReplyCancel

McKinney Madness - First, I HATE I missed Thanksgiving with ya'll this year. The tree looks awesome and I can't wait to see it in person! Second, the "dominator" reminds me of us riding the go cart around at ya'll's house in Killen… what a blast we had! Looks like the kids had so much fun and I'm glad ya'll had a great weekend!ReplyCancel

THE MORROW FAMILY - I'm sad we missed Thanksgiving, too! I'm glad ya'll had a good time, though. And, I am really glad that you and Thomas got a weekend away…I'm sure that was great for the two of you. I'm jealous. 🙂ReplyCancel

Thomas decided, last minute of course, to run in the 5K Jingle Bell Run on Sunday.  That little stink…he hasn’t run in over 6 weeks and ended up placing 5th in his age group and 43rd overall.  I told him that if he actually trained he would probably do really well.  The boys ran the little […]

We took the kids to the Birmingham Zoo on Saturday….last minute and random…two words that go hand-n-hand with the Busby’s.   We had a great time and the weather was perfect.  I loved taking pictures of the animals, especially the ones I could see up close.  They really do amaze me. Even the pink flamingos, so pretty to look at. Here’s […]

Jill - Brooke, I love your blog! You definitely have a talent for creativity. This blog was particularly entertaining to me because I absolutely HATE llamas! I went to a petting zoo at Six Flags when I was 10, got spit on by a llama, and for the rest of the day I smelled like vomit. Llamas are vile creatures. Tell Thomas I feel for him!ReplyCancel
