The craziest has officially begun. We are adding about 1000 sq feet to our house, which is very exciting, but also going to be very stressful (at least from what friends have told us.)
We are gutting the kids bedrooms and the hall bath and adding sq footage to that end of the house so that Carter’s room can become a little bigger, the boys will have their own bathroom to share, and Caley will have her own bathroom. We will also be gutting the hall bathroom, which will become the new laundry room. We are closing in the garage and adding another garage in the back. The existing garage will become a family room, guests bedroom, and bathroom. There will also be some work done to the front of the house…extending out the porch a bit, new columns, door, and gables on both sides of the house.
I’ll try and update as we go…but for now, because of all this rain, looks like there won’t be much going on for a while. UGH!
