It is really so hard to describe how incredible our experience was to see the Grand Canyon. AMAZING. I tried to take pictures at different angles so that you could see just how unbelievably massive this thing is. You can see the ice and snow on the ground, which made me very scared the entire time we were there. It’s one thing to be standing at the top of a big hole with only a rail to separate you and the bottom, but for the ground to be slippery as well? I was on on edge the entire time and really couldn’t enjoy myself fully while we were there because I kept picturing the kids falling off. Every time they threw a snowball off the edge, my stomach would sink. There were areas where we walked that actually didn’t have railings up, and I think my heart rate skyrocketed at that point. I was probably overly paranoid at times, but still.
This guy thought I was crazy the entire time. 🙂Beautiful sky, beautiful day.
We started our trip towards Glendale when we left here, right at sunset. Next stop…..THE GAME!!!
