Granny and Pop were able to come and visit a little this past weekend and we took advantage of that by asking Pop to help carve one of our pumpkins.  Carving is not an easy job.  It’s fun, but time consuming and hard work. I have certainly not mastered the technique or even come close so I […]

Caley’s class took a little field trip to Tate Farms today and I thought it was gonna be freezing but it was actually pretty nice weather. The sun was out…thank goodness. First stop: petting the animals. I think they used to let you actually pick the bunnies up but not anymore. The kids were only […]

Elvis…..welcome to the Busby house. Aunt Carolyn and Amy gave Carter a gift card for his birthday so he decided that he wanted a fish. Fish are good with me. We will never again get a frog that’s for sure. I had to go to Pet Smart every week to buy crickets just to feed […]

Stacy - When I was in grad school I got a goldfish and called it Nacho. I bought a little (1 or 2 gal) fishtank that had a (obviously cheap but still gave it fresh air) filter. That little 29cent fish lived until we were in our Otter Trail house–almost 4 years! Anyways…I still have it (in a retired, non-fish-inhabited state) if you are interested in trying to help the fish live longer. If not, feel free to disregard and I'm sure we would all agree not to tell Carter the offer was ever on the table! ๐Ÿ™‚ReplyCancel

brooke - Stacy…oh my goodness….are you serious? I would love it! I've been looking for fish aquariums today on craigs list because I was starting to feel bad for the little guy. I think he's depressed or maybe he's about to die now. If so, I want my money back. ๐Ÿ™‚ReplyCancel

Crawdad hunting in the creek/sewer. Disgusting. The boys said they were stuck in quick sand….Caley called it “kick stand.” Camden lost his shoes in there too. Play dates at the park. This swing was very popular….everyone wanted to stay on. Lots of screaming. Staying up late watching TV on the couch/bed.

THE MORROW FAMILY - Crawdad fishing…yuck! Boys will be boys, huh? Guess I need to send Noah over there with Camden and Carter so he can learn how to be a "real" boy. Love the swing pictures…that was too funny when they were screaming and laughing so loud! ๐Ÿ™‚ReplyCancel

jenna - BAHAHAHAHA! Oh Caley! SO funny!ReplyCancel

  • October 8, 2009 - 2:10 pm

Stacy - That is SO funny!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Her teachers are gonna think that her mommy doesn't wear clothes around the house!!

I don't really know how to deal with this subject. I don't like the word 'boobs' and Lawson and Jordan address them all the time. Jordan came up with her own word for them–one day she just started calling them pom-poms.

The other day, Lawson went to the childcare at the gym and saw Scooby Doo on the tv there. On the way home, he told me about this "new" girl on tv, Daphne. He said her "shell bumps" were bigger than Ariel's. Daphne had big shell bumps, and Ariel had littler ones.

Crazy how curious they can be! ๐Ÿ™‚ReplyCancel

Does anyone know what in the world is so spectacular about these “silly bandz“? Jamey - I've noticed all the volleyball girls wearing them too! They have only one or two at a time…guess that's the 'cool' way for older girls. It's always going to be something isn't it!?
